an amicable split in just one week? TLC plans to find out in one special edition of
the groundbreaking show, "One Week to Save Your Marriage".

Producers are planning to travel through Florida in early November to find a couple
with children under 18 that are eager to learn how to turn their adverse
relationship into a friendship. Dr. Robi Ludwig, host of "One Week," will guide the
chosen parents from conflict to camaraderie with around the clock surveillance and
exercises designed to teach them behavioral tools.

The United States has the highest divorce rate in the world, recording over 1
million marriages ending each year. With nearly 84,600 unions ending annually in
Florida, the state maintains a divorce rate of 5.3 per 1,000; higher than the
national average of 4.0. The aim of "One Week" will be to show these couples that
they are not alone, and that it is possible to avoid the negative impact it could
cause on the parents and especially their children.
